End-time deception in the Church

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits,
whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1Jn 4:1)
But there were also false prophets among the people,
even as there will be false teachers among you,
who will secretly bring in destructive heresies,
even denying the Lord who bought them,
and bring on themselves swift destruction.
And many will follow their destructive ways,
because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.
(2Pt 2,1-2)
You therefore, beloved,
since you know this beforehand,
beware lest you fall from your steadfastness,
being led away with the error of the wicked;
but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
(2Pt 3,17-18)

A warning against the errors of the Pentecostal-Charismatic Movement –

Biblical guidelines for true believers
in the last days

This website was created by bible-believing Christians in order to help those believers in Christ who are looking for sound biblical doctrine to overcome the increasing end-time deception in the church.

Here you will find biblical arguments in different languages that expose false doctrines, especially those of the Pentecostal and Charismatic movement, but also of the Neo-Evangelicalism and Ecumenism of our days. This website wants to offer Biblical guidance in the midst of all the confusing currents of contemporary Christianity.

Many serious believers realize that we live in the end time, in the last times before the rapture of the Church and before the arrival of our Lord Jesus Christ on earth who will then judge the nations and erect His kingdom on earth.

According to the Bible, these last days of the present Church dispensation are characterized by large-scale deception, false prophets, false signs and wonders, and false teachers who mislead many. In such times it is vital to study the Bible and above all the sound doctrine of the apostles, and to defend the Biblical faith against all errors and heresies.

The papers and lectures published here have been authored by Rudolf Ebertshäuser, a German bible teacher who used to be an active member of a Charismatic church for some years, until God opened his eyes and made him realize that he had been led astray by false doctrines and deceiving spirits (1Tim 4:1).

Rudolf Ebertshäuser wrote several books in German, which are based on the interpretation and doctrine of the Bible and deal with the Charismatic movement, with the deceptive “Church Growth” movement, the “Emerging Church”, and other topics as well. His German writings and audio lectures are published on the website das-wort-der-wahrheit.de.

Some of his German material has been translated into several other languages. With this multi-language website we want to make these translations available to Christians world-wide, in order to give them biblical help to discern the subtle deceptions that influence so many believers and churches everywhere in the world.

Please choose the language you need, and you will find the material that is translated into this particular language.

Under “Recent Posts” in our menu you will find all (relatively) new additions to this website listed. Further material will be published when God leads brethren and sisters to translate them out of the German original into their mother tongues.

We would be glad to expand the range of papers in each language which is presently quite narrow in some cases. We appreciate all believers who feel led to pray for this website, for many readers to find it and for translators to add further content. Of cause you ought to pray for other websites as well which defend the Biblical faith, so that many deceived children of God are led to the truth.

If any Bible-believing Christians are competent and feel led by the Lord to translate texts from German (or from some English texts) into their language, they are welcome to get into contact with the author (you find the address in the Imprint).

All texts and audio records on this website can be copied and distributed freely, as long as they remain complete and unadulterated, and as long as the author’s name and the title are correctly given. This free use is only allowed if the material is passed on free of cost or at cost price. Any commercial use of this material or translation from it is only possible after a written contract with the author has been signed.

This website has the purpose to present fundamental teaching on important questions of the church, not topical news. It is run by the author himself, who can  invest only limited time into this project; we kindly ask our visitors’ pardon for any mistakes or shortcomings.

May our great God and our Lord Jesus Christ bless evey sincere reader of these pages!
